Shay Pool (he/him/his) is a freelance artist, designer, director, and educator based in Oklahoma City, OK. Shay is currently receiving his BFA in Theatrical Design & Production at the University of Oklahoma! He has been working with Broadway in Bixby since launch in 2019, and is thrilled to be a part of the programs they provide. Shay is no stranger to the theatre scene in Tulsa, as the former Director of Technical Theatre & Production at Bixby Public Schools. He has had the opportunity to work with numerous regional and community theatre companies such as Theatre Tulsa, American Theatre Company, Orbit Arts, and many more. Shay is also a member of the Marketing & Patron Services team at Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma. In addition to his regional & community theatre work, he also serves as the Director of Technical Theatre & Production at Bixby Public School's. Over the years, Shay has had the opportunity to work with hundreds of regionally acclaimed performers, designers, directors, and educators across the globe, most recognizably with his work as the Founding Executive Director at Evergreen Theatre Collective, one of the world's leading online arts engagement programs.

Toni Ross (she/her/hers) is currently the Theatre Director at Bixby Middle School and has been in the Bixby Public School district for 16 years. Toni graduated from Oklahoma State University. She has directed and/or choreographed productions such as The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Footloose, James and the Giant Peach, Singing in the Rain, Junie B. Jones, 1776, The Little Mermaid, Matilda Jr., Elf Jr., Oklahoma and many more. Toni has performed in community theatre productions including Theatre Tulsa's The Producers, Miss Saigon, 9 to 5, Will Rogers Follies and Chicago as well as ATC's A Christmas Carol. Toni has served on the Advisory Board of Directors with the Tulsa Ballet and served on the academic task force for scholastic success of their dancers.

Nicole Brown (she/her/hers) has been teaching music in Bixby for the past seven years, after receiving a Bachelor of Vocal Music Education from Oklahoma State University. At OSU, she had the privilege of being a member of Chamber Choir and Concert Choral under several distinguished faculty members. Over the past ten years she has directed award winning choirs and served as the music director for several productions including Alice in Wonderland and The Drowsy Chaperone as well as Broadway in Bixby's The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Matilda JR, & SpongeBob.
Wardrobe Coordinator

Natalie Lane (she/her/hers) has been a part of the theatre community since age six as a performer, seamstress, stage manager, & costume designer. She has served as the Wardrobe Coordinator & Designer for all six of Broadway in Bixby's seasons. Natalie is a Costume Design B.F.A candidate at the University of Oklahoma, with design credits at OU University Theatre including productions of A Christmas Carol, Dearly Departed, and Contemporary Dance Oklahoma 2025. Assistant work on OU Ballet’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Tulsa Performing Arts Ragtime the Musical.
Scenic Designer & Studio Coordinator

Cara Oates is an award winning scenic and projection designer from Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She just recently received her BFA in Theatre, Scenic Design emphasis from the University of Oklahoma in May 2025. Cara was featured in USITT's 2025 Emerging Creatives Showcase. Her projection design for Rent at the University of Oklahoma received 1st place in projection design at the national SETC conference in 2025. Her scenic and projection design for Everybody at the University of Oklahoma received the 2023 Award for Best Scenic Design of a Play or Musical from Broadway World Oklahoma and 2nd place in projection design at SETC in 2024. Recent scenic design credits: Aloha, Say the Pretty Girls, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Rita/L'heure espagnole and Another Beginning at the University of Oklahoma; Bremen Town Musicians at the Nancy O'Brien Center and Norman Public Library. Recent projection design credits: Grœnland at the Resonator and Te Ata Theater; Rent and Everybody at the University of Oklahoma. Cara was the Associate Video Designer/Programmer for Cinderella at Bartlesville Community Center and Assistant to the Media Designer for The Skin of Our Teeth at the University of Houston.
